What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

As a full time REALTOR I work by commission, which means I only get paid when I help you buy or sell your property and the transaction closes.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically start with a client consultation. The purpose of this initial appointment is to understand your “needs and wants” as a seller or buyer. This may be the most critical meeting of the entire process. During this appointment, the entire selling or purchasing pathway will be discussed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a business degree from the University of Oregon and I attend regular continuing education classes for the real estate industry. Additional qualifications include: • Professional Standards committee member for the Central Oregon Association of Realtors (COAR). • Real Estate Negotiations Expert (RENE) designation • Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designation • Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) designation

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I wanted to help people realize their real estate goals. Whether that is buying, selling, investing, my job is to guide you through that process and make it as easy as possible for you. I have systems in place to make the process as stress free as possible for my clients.

I have worked with a number of different types of clients including: • Investors • Property sellers • Commercial property buyers & sellers. • Vacation homes • VA buyers • First time home buyers

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Each real estate "project" takes anywhere from one month to a year or more. It just depends on my clients needs and in the case of buyers it may take some time to find the right home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your agent is full time! Real estate is a team sport, so make sure you 'click' with your agent. If it's not a good fit you will not enjoy the process. For listing a property, ask about the agent's marketing plan. Is your agent using the latest systems to promote your property to the maximum number of people?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

• What is the ultimate goal of your real estate transaction? (move to a bigger home? better school district? stop renting? vacation home for the family?) • What are some of the must-haves for your new home? • How soon would you like to move? • Are you pre-qualified with a lender?
